Art that makes you think

One Small Step for Man

Taylor Weiland's "One small step for man, one giant leap into history." Experience history reborn once again as famous astronauts Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin land on the moon right before your eyes all from the comfort of the American home living room on July 20, 1969. Sit back and take in this monumental moment for humankind once again and perhaps even discover what it means for you.

Ali Watkins' "Metamorphosis" runs through August 10 in the Slam Gallery. Watkins is a Manitou Springs graduate of 2014 who is pursuing an art degree at Metropolitan State University. She found her love of art through the mediums of sculpture, painting, printmaking, and photography.
