In 1996, after 30 years in business, Jay Miller returned to school to pursue studies in the fine arts. Since then, he has left full time employment to become a full time artist. He works in a variety of mediums including painting, drawing, papermaking, and clay sculpture. Jay has numerous educational credits in business, education and the arts, including a BA in Art History and an MFA in Interdisciplinary Art. In addition to his work as an artist, Jay has been teaching art since 2004, is actively involved with several arts non-profits, and occasionally writes art criticism for interested readers.
