I follow my creative urges along whatever paths capture my imagination, often expressing myself through female and anthropomorphic forms. Sculpting in water-based clay , I am free to explore infinite styles of construction, firing procedures, and glazing techniques, resulting in each piece being one of a kind. My work is often architectural in construction and yet relies on many organic materials for patterns and texture. Having spent many years living in Utah, Massachusetts, Florida, Arizona and Colorado, I have absorbed many geographical and cultural influences. I have been exhibiting my work in galleries and shows since 1988. Today, I am still inspired and grateful when the viewer emotionally connects with my sculptures. This is the gift of art.
